Establish a More Positive You this 2016: Unleash the Power of your Mind

success | 2016

The year of the Wood Sheep is about to end. For most people, 2015 has been a great year where they have been able to fulfill most of their plans and goals. On the other hand, some people may have felt uneasy and disappointed because of unachieved goals. Setting goal is never easy. It requires constant effort and commitment. At the same time, you need to stay focused and passionate. As what Diana Scharf Hunt says, “Goals are just dreams with deadline!” The execution and application of the plan determines how well the goal is established.

The way you think affects the way you make your decisions. A free-spirited mind brings out happy thoughts while a gloomy state of mind brings shattering thoughts. In order to uncover your mind power, be the achiever of your dream and the doer of your goals. The following may help you bring out the best in you by changing the way you see things and eventually develop the way you perceive the most beautiful and ordinary things.

  • Know your goals and write it down.

I have encountered a lot of people who get lost on the process of pursuing their dreams. They have plans and they are good at it. But they got lost on the middle, simply because they forgot where to go. They forgot what they wanted and they become blinded of what they had achieved on the process. Constant commitment to your goal will keep you going. Writing down your goal on a piece of paper on your room can help you. Waking up every morning and seeing this note can help you set-up your mind. Dreams are better written and tangible words on paper are reminder of what you want to achieve. Jot it down!

  • Be an early bird. Do your goals while others are still sleeping.

Thomas Jefferson once said, “ The sun has not caught me in the bed in fifty years.” Imagine how Thomas Jefferson rises up every morning with the goal on his mind. This keeps him going and this is why he is successful. Hard work, determination and commitment are the factors of success. Applying this on your life will help you create the best person within you. Get your goals done first in the morning and end your day with the feeling of accomplishment.

  • Your goals should be what you want and what makes you happy.

Having a goal is like having a reason to get out of the bed every morning. It should give you the feeling of excitement of what life would bring you ahead. Something you would look forward at the end of the day, everyday. If your goal doesn’t give you this excitement, you should re-evaluate your goal. Your goal should be what makes you happy, what keeps you alive, what keeps you going and what instills growth and maturity in you.

We all have our own definition of success. We all desire of being successful. Whatever the chances and despite all of the circumstances, everyone is capable of being successful. It’s all in the mind. Whatever you think, you gradually become. So start thinking of your goals and write it down. Chances would be higher if you are capable of reminding yourself everyday what you want and what you need to do.
